70,000+ lines. One reusable engineering library.

Three decades of production VBA — procedures, classes, and forms — built while solving real problems for real clients, now being organized into a licensable library for the MS Office Suite.

Why a code library, and why now

Across Arthur Andersen, Keane, Siemens, Dematic, viastore, and Designed Conveyor Systems, Daniel wrote the same category of tool over and over — estimating engines, document parsers, workflow trackers, reporting generators — each time rebuilding pieces that should have been reusable. The Logic Wise code library is the result of finally organizing that work: procedures broken into discrete, well-defined units that can be assembled to solve almost any Office-automation problem, rather than written from scratch each time.

The centerpiece is a family of parsing and code-generation engines — VBA implementations that do the job classic UNIX tools like AWK, LEX, and YACC were built for — reading source code or structured documents and producing indexed documentation, CRUD matrices, configuration files, or reports automatically. It's the same discipline that comes from a compiler-design education, applied inside applications every business already has installed.

Three ways to license it

The library is being packaged for release under whichever model fits a client's environment and risk tolerance:

Status

Current state
Active internal use across client engagements; packaging and documentation underway
Availability
Early access and custom-module engagements available now — general release to follow
Best fit for
Teams already running MS Office 2003–365 who need proven components rather than a from-scratch build
Deployment Models

Choose the packaging that fits your environment

DB

Database Repository

A central Access repository that pulls in whichever routines a given project needs — ideal for teams who want a growing internal toolkit they can extend over time.

.dll

Compiled COM DLLs

Core routines compiled into COM DLLs for reference from Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, or Project — a cleaner deployment footprint for locked-down or enterprise environments.

M

Modules, Classes & Forms

Individual modules, classes, or forms sold directly — the right fit when a team only needs one capability (say, a parsing engine or an estimating formula set) rather than the whole library.

Planned Catalog

What's inside

A preview of the module categories being organized for release. Specific components are also available now as custom engagements.

Estimating & Parametric Formulas

ROM and detailed estimating engines, parametric formula sets, and auto-populating pricing workbooks drawn from 20+ years of construction and material-handling estimating.

Document & Code Parsing Engines

The LEX/YACC-style tools: source-code documentation generators, CRUD matrix builders, and structured-document readers.

Workflow & Task Automation

Proposal/submittal automation, personnel and resource tracking, and Outlook-integrated task and calendar workflow tools.

Reporting & Dashboard Generators

Earned Value Management reporting, executive dashboard builders, and automated monthly/quarterly report generation.

Data Integration Bridges

Routines for pulling SAP and ERP exports into governed Excel/Access data models — pivot-ready, reconciled, and repeatable.

Lean & Process Modeling

Visio-driven flow-diagram-to-artifact generators that produce configuration files, routing tables, and test scripts from process diagrams.

Interested in early access or a custom module?

The library is being packaged for general release now. If a specific capability would solve a problem you have today, let's talk about a custom engagement.
